Counterparty

Counterparty brings Ethereum-like functionality to Bitcoin. It uses Bitcoin's OP_RETURN field to create unique assets on the Bitcoin blockchain. XCP transactions are validated and secured by the Bitcoin network. XCP assets and tokens are held in Bitcoin-compatible wallets. I have been a Counterparty advocate since 2016. This is an open-source, decentralized project that is openly hostile to venture capital. Counterparty has given me the opportunity to deepen my understanding of cryptography, open-source software, game theory, decentralization, community building and more.
