ES3

The ES3 (Engineering and Science for Software Systems) research group, recognized in the Andalusian Research Plan as a PAIDI TIC021 group, is attached as a work team to the FIDETIA Foundation (Foundation for Research and Development of information technologies in Andalusia) and the FIUS Foundation (Foundation for Research at the University of Seville). Previously known as the IWT2 group, for more than 15 years, it has participated and continues to participate in different regional, national and international research projects, in numerous projects for the transfer of research results and R+D+i, within the Engineering of the Software, such as web engineering, big data, software testing, project management, RPA, and software quality assurance, among others. For this, the group has a large human team made up of professors from the Department of Computer Languages ​​and Systems of the ETSII (University of Seville) and engineers with extensive experience and specialized in research tasks and in different techniques that provide support in all the strategic lines of the group. Our lines of work could be framed, although not limited, within requirements engineering, software testing and quality assurance during the development of information systems (oriented or not to the web) , giving a special role to test engineering, the development of techniques and protocols that improve the competitiveness of companies in any business field based on the effective and efficient management of their business processes and on the definition, generation and transformation of models under the model-guided engineering paradigm. The group also contemplates solutions framed in benchmark technologies such as RPA, blockchain or Industry 4.0 and is an expert in supporting organizations in their Digital Transformation processes.
