Established in 1993, Joint Venture Silicon Valley provides analysis and action on issues affecting our region's economy and quality of life. The organization brings together established and emerging leaders—from business, government, academia, labor and the broader community—to spotlight issues and work toward innovative solutions. The Institute for Regional Studies - www.siliconvalleyindicators.org The Silicon Valley Institute for Regional Studies is the research arm of Joint Venture Silicon Valley. Research topics focus on economic and community health issues within Silicon Valley and the greater Bay Area, as well as on broader regional issues. JVSV Initiatives Food Rescue Working to alleviate hunger in the region by eliminating food waste and distributing surplus food to those in need.
