The Americas Region represents nearly 60% of Medtronic’s global revenue. The Region consists of three sub-regions (U.S., Latin America, and Canada) and two businesses (Medtronic Care Management Services and Integrated Health Solutions). Our sub-regions are a combination of developed (U.S. and Canada) and developing or emerging markets (Latin America).Despite the demographic, socioeconomic, and technological differences between our sub-regions, all governments and payers across the Americas face a common challenge: inadequate resources to improve care and outcomes for their patients. To help solve this challenge, the Americas Region is focused on providing transformational solutions that can generate better outcomes for patients while helping to reduce healthcare costs — aligning to our Mission of alleviating pain, restoring health and extending life for patients.
