Mithun is responsible for representing and championing the voice of the developer internally and externally. In his role as VP & GM of the Developer tools & programs BU, Mithun and team will partner across the organization and will champion the voice of the developer from the outside in. Additionally, Mithun will also oversee the strategy and set the vision for an integrated developer experience that is simple and delightful (DX) across the entire Red Hat portfolio, including Developer Tools, CodeReady, Red Hat OpenShift, RHEL and Middleware business units. Mithun will also be responsible to build & execute programs, campaigns, events and also engage with analysts, partners, SIs, ISVs and the ecosystem at large to drive developer awareness and adoption of the Red Hat portfolio. The Developer product SKU is a cross portfolio SKU that is built and maintained by the Developer Business Unit. This is the fundamental Self-Serve offering from Red Hat and generates over $200m USD in annual revenue (cross platform influenced revenue).
