After Selling Accelerated Connections, I wanted to both give back to the tech community and invest in start-ups. Joining Matt Cohen to start Ripple Ventures was an easy decision. We invest in early-stage companies that create enterprise software solutions. In our first fund, we invested in 10 companies, many of which have earned large valuation bumps in a very short period of time. Ripple is a very hands-on investor. If a company is just looking for a cheque and a good-luck handshake, we are not the right investor for them. On the other hand, if a company is looking for a true partner that will help them grow revenue, hire great talent, and work with them in subsequent funding rounds, then we might be a great fit!
