As a KYC compliance officer I am responsible for; reviewing and verifying the authenticity of new customers' documents and identifications, analyzing the level of potential risk involved with each client and conducting background checks from the data scraped by Onfido and web searches. I also look for a consumer trends based on geological location, event and gender while identifying any possible suspicious activity. In addition to my work with my team as a compliance manager, I help to train KYC procedures, flow and aid in the onboarding of new agents and have written training guides on Russian passports, internal IDs and recognizing fraudulent documents.
