Umiami is a French foodtech, created in 2020, with the mission to reduce meat consumption in the world, and its impact on health, animals and the environment. A pioneer in the development of a patented process for texturizing vegetable proteins, "umisation", the start-up recreates the experience of whole-cut meat, without compromising on taste and composition. Currently scaling up production, Umiami will offer its first 100% vegan chicken breast to food companies and food service by the end of 2022
